I am currently working in the substations sector as a Project Management Engineer. I have experience in project execution and coordination for electrical substation projects, with prior experience in electrical design. I have exposure to substations, protection & control systems, SCADA, along with field training in Artificial Lift systems at SLB (Schlumberger) and field exposure at GUPCO. I am a PMP® certified, with good understanding of project management concepts in engineering environments. I served as Director of M&M committee at IEEE Helwan Student Branch (2021–2023), where I led teams and organized technical and marketing activities. I am a team player with strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure in engineering projects.
-Received technical training on Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) systems and artificial lift applications. -Developed understanding of ESP surface and downhole components, including motors, protectors, gas separators, pumps, sensors, and power cables. -Gained exposure to ESP operation, performance optimization, and production system fundamentals. -Applied SLB QHSE standards and Life-Saving Rules throughout training activities.
-Designed LV electrical systems (power & lighting) in compliance with relevant codes and standards. -Prepared panel schedules, single line diagrams, and feeder data schedules. -Bulk equipment sizing (Transformer, MV & LV switchgear, Generator, UPS). -Electrical infrastructure design. • Cable tray and cable sizing and routing. -Conducted earthing, lightning protection, short-circuit, and voltage drop calculations. -Coordinate project deliverables with other engineering disciplines. Projects: 1. MIVIDA GARDENS Project. 2. MARASSI Soul Villas project. 3. KAFD Monorail Project - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
