Senior Health Project Manager at the 5% Initiative with a focus on countries in South-East Asia (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam) and a portfolio of 7 million EUR. - Within the initial team of 4 people, strong input to the development of the processes and tools of the 5% Initiative (oversight, monitoring and evaluation tools and various templates); - Provision of TA support to 48 beneficiaries mainly in South East Asia but also in Western Africa and Eastern Europe with the mobilization of 128 experts for a total budget of 3 million EUR; - Successful support to 16 funding requests to the Global Fund; - Contribution to the launch and organization of 7 calls for proposals (inputs provided to the calls for proposals, to the Terms of Reference and the organization of the overall process); - Management and follow-up of 11 3-years projects funded by Expertise France, including 10 projects implemented in the Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS) for a total budget of 8.8 million EUR; - Contribution to the positioning of the 5% Initiative in the GMS region, and to the continuous political support to these countries by the 5% Initiative Steering Committee and by Expertise France; - Successfully led the organization of a scientific conference on malaria in Bangkok in December 2014 and contributed to the publication of its meeting report in the Malaria Journal; - Direct contribution to the development of project proposals to UNITAID and to the Global Fund.
- Management of 14 research and treatments grants with an annual budget of over 3 million EUR ; - Contributed to the successful implementation of a project on access to HIV prevention and care for migrants and minorities; - Abstract approved for a presentation entitled “Crossroads of Migration and HIV/AIDS Policies: Nongovernmental Organizations’ Responses in Improving Access to Prevention and Care for Migrants and Ethnic Minorities in Thailand” at the American Annual Conference on Applied Social Sciences in Seattle in 2011; - Gained legitimacy and credibility with the researchers and was involved in the development of research projects to provide technical inputs.
- Coordination and management of advocacy programs on international health in Europe and in Sub-Saharan Africa: activity planning and implementation, reporting (Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, UN Foundation, Malaria Consortium UK). - Capacity building of the civil society in the North and in the South in the fight against malaria: management and coordination of coalitions against malaria in France, member of the European network against malaria and contribution to the launch of similar networks in the South. - Research on development policies: research and documentation both in the field and desk studies; organization of training workshops, seminars for in-depth analysis; assistance in providing support to the Global Fund in the collection and analysis of data for policy and programme formulation; member of the RBM/WHO Malaria Advocacy Working Group.
