Supervise a team of 11 direct reports including Service Desk, Repair Technicians, and System Administrators. Primary responsibility is to manage all client facing technologies. This includes deployment, configuration, identity management, incident resolution and general maintenance of all end user devices owned by the College of Medicine and its affiliates. My responsibilities also include management of hosted applications and windows server environment where availability is prioritized. As a member of the management team I interact with all branches of IT. These experiences range from application development, incident response, system administration, network administration and security compliance. From a security perspective, this position exposes me to vulnerability assessment, risk management, penetration testing, compliance, security auditing and network security. My key accomplishments here were designing and deploying information systems for two new health clinics with multiple specialties. The college also achieved final accreditation earning top marks on the technology review. Hired to provide technical support and system administration for a hybrid Windows and MacOS environment.
