Lead business operations for a multi-site Christian youth ministry serving communities across Wisconsin. Responsible for organizational operations, facilities management, human resources administration, risk management, policy development, financial oversight support, and strategic initiatives that enable staff to effectively carry out the ministry's mission. Partner closely with the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and leadership team to ensure operational excellence across multiple locations. Oversee facility projects, insurance and risk management programs, technology systems, vendor relationships, organizational policies, and administrative processes. Support staff development, organizational planning, and ministry growth while helping create safe, welcoming environments where youth receive recreation opportunities, academic support, Christian mentorship, and exposure to God's Word. Currently responsible for all things related to operating and managing 10 different warehousing locations in Wisconsin with a revenue of over 18MM. This scope of responsibility includes 1.7 million+ square feet of warehouse space, 12+ salaried managers and 100+ hourly employees. Our business is successful in warehouse management and logistics spanning from lawn care national and international service parts distribution to food safe warehousing and distribution. My passion is implementing a consistent and passionate culture of integrity in all things, high performance execution, and happy employees proud of team accomplishments.
Managing a 183k sq. ft. Walmart Supercenter that includes everything from a Fresh Produce department to Online GM and Grocery sales, to an Auto Care Center. Total store annual sales are over 91 million and achieved through over 330 hourly associates and 13 salaried members of management. We are proud to be part of the Beaver Dam community and of our service offered to the people in that community and surrounding communities.
Transformed a management team and developed associates (150+) in all positions from a hometown general merchandise store (96k sq. ft. and 36 million in annual sales) to a Walmart Supercenter (121k sq. ft.) during a 3 wall expansion maintaining normal operating hours in 2011. Continued to manage this Supercenter employing over 230 associates and 10 salaried managers diligently working to serve the communities that help us achieve now over 55 million in sales a year.
Developed and built operational skills in a 80 million dollar+ Supercenter. Developed skills to successfully lead a 8+ salaried management team responsible for 200+ employees.
I have had the opportunity and privilege to serve my Lord on the Board of Adult Discipleship at Peace Lutheran where we plan, organize, and execute opportunities for our 1800+ members to grow in their faith and knowledge through bible studies, fellowship opportunities, and additional knowledge building events, seminars, or classes. Volunteering to serve in this way has been rewarding on many levels! Chairman of B.A.D. also comes with the responsibilities of serving on the church Coordinating Council. There I am able to contribute to high level decisions for the church and participate in setting vision, goals, and direction for our congregation and the grade school it supports. I enjoy the responsibility it carries and view it as assignment from the Lord who I pray continually supports and guides me in direction parallel to His will and design.
