I’m a senior leader in the aged care and retirement living sector with executive level experience across operations, workforce, finance, compliance, and large‑scale organisational change. Currently, I serve as Sunrise Group General Manager within BaptistCare, leading Sunrise Supported Living and Sunrise Home Care through a complex post‑merger transition while maintaining service continuity, employee engagement, and strong financial and operational performance. I’ve led teams through regulatory scrutiny, audit recovery, technology transformation, workforce scale‑up, and commercial realignment — always with a strong focus on employee experience and person‑centred care. I’m committed to continuing my career in aged care and retirement living, contributing to high‑quality outcomes through strong leadership, sound governance, and values‑aligned service delivery.
Continuing my role as Group General Manager to lead Sunrise through its post‑merger transition with BaptistCare, acting as the primary corporate liaison and ensuring continuity of care, workforce stability, and operational performance throughout the integration period. Key responsibilities and achievements include: Leading the transition strategy for Sunrise in partnership with BaptistCare senior executives and the Transformation Management Office. Successfully advocating for and delivering a staged integration approach, delaying full systems and people integration by five months to protect employee experience and allow deeper understanding of Sunrise’s operating model. Maintaining business‑as‑usual performance during transition by leading senior management and supporting timely, high‑quality decision‑making. Acting as employee experience and retention lead, coordinating internal and external stakeholders and achieving 93% employee retention during the transfer period. Collaborating with Retirement Living and Home Care leaders to preserve Sunrise’s core Model of Care while identifying opportunities for service improvement. Resolving complex operational issues to maintain service continuity ahead of software, systems, and support service integration. This role requires balancing transformation demands with day‑to‑day operational leadership, while maintaining trust with employees, customers, and regulators during a period of significant organisational change.
