Emmy Award-winning composer Adam Lukas creates music for film, television, and large-format cinema. Born in Austria and trained at the Prayner Conservatory in Vienna, he spent six years at Hans Zimmer's Bleeding Fingers Music before establishing himself as an independent composer based in Los Angeles. His work spans major broadcasters and platforms including BBC, National Geographic, Netflix, and IMAX. Notable credits include Frozen Planet II (BBC, with Hans Zimmer), Arctic: Our Frozen Planet (IMAX, narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch), Primates (BBC, Emmy win), Being the Queen (NatGeo, Emmy nomination), and the 2022 Super Bowl LVI Opening Film featuring Halle Berry and Kevin Hart. His solo piano music is published by Universal Edition, one of the world's foremost classical music publishers. In addition to his Emmy, Adam's work has been recognized with a Giant Screen Cinema Award, a Televisual Bulldog Award, an IFMCA nomination, and multiple Music & Sound Awards nominations. He is currently open to select projects in film and television.
