As a bunker trader, I am responsible for carrying out back to back bunker trading, from sourcing the best suppliers, to developing a diverse customer portfolio, to monitoring and managing the entire delivery. I have established and maintained long-term relationships with ship owners, operators, and charterers, and I have assisted them with forward fixing and hedging strategies to mitigate market risks and volatility. I have also handled and resolved any claims or disputes that may arise, and ensured compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
*Primary activity is to carry out back to back bunker trading *Develop customer portfolio from ship owners, operators, charterers *Monitor the entire supply chain and trade cycle, right from loading operations, delivery and payments *Recording and follow up on all trade related activities *Maintaining and documenting the enquiries and deals in the database of company *Developing relations with clients *Handle claims if any *Assist clients for forward fixing and hedging to optimize their voyage costs
*Responsible for the safe cargo operations and maintenance of the vessel *Supervision of mooring and anchoring of the vessel as directed by Master *In addition to the necessary administrative jobs, responsible for safety equipment onboard *Replace the master in his/her absence, capable of navigating the vessel and take decisons and manage the crew independently to know their responsibilities and are able to perform them to the best of their abilities
