I thrive in environments that embrace a shared vision of success, and I am committed to continuously mastering emerging technologies while integrating converged legacy and newly deployed product lines. Let’s connect to explore how my skills can contribute to your organization’s growth and efficiency.
Responsible for the day-to-day availability, reliability, and operational integrity of routed, switched, and fabric-based network environments supporting healthcare delivery, while validating designs, implementing solutions, and transitioning network and connectivity projects into production operations. This role coordinates closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and field technicians to rapidly resolve scheduling, scope, and quality issues, performs field verification and acceptance of infrastructure changes to ensure compliance with internal standards, design intent, and regulatory requirements, and supports ongoing change management, incident response, and corrective actions in a 24x7 operational environment. Additionally, the role contributes to standardization and documentation efforts to improve long-term maintainability and reliability across enterprise LAN/WAN environments, fabric-based switching, fiber and copper infrastructure, and regulated healthcare facilities.
Delivered end-to-end network and connectivity integration projects for healthcare and enterprise customers, serving as both technical lead and on-site execution partner for multi-site deployments. Engineered and supported structured cabling, fiber, and network infrastructure while coordinating field activities with installation vendors to ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and schedule commitments. Conducted technical reviews, design assessments, and implementation planning for LAN/WAN and voice/data systems, resolving scope gaps and design conflicts through practical in-field solutions. Supported project turnover into operations through documentation, testing validation, and stakeholder sign-off, while providing technical guidance for migrations from legacy to IP-based systems to minimize downtime and operational risk.
Primarily responsible for the Avaya CS2100 systems, including preventive and remedial maintenance activities supporting federally hardened data and telecommunications infrastructure, with prior experience on the Nortel CS2000 allowing for seamless transfer of skills. The role focused on resolving all system-level issues related to both legacy and VoIP voice platforms, while also analyzing multi-vendor network environments and equipment to identify opportunities for optimization and expansion, operating under a top-secret clearance as required.
Supported and deployed the Succession CS2000 softswitch solution, a premier transitional platform for migrating legacy POTS services to IP-based voice, leveraging traffic encapsulation through technologies such as the Nortel VSS 7480 and MSS 15000, which later evolved into the Avaya PVG series and subsequently the Extreme Networks VSP series of devices.
Responsible for installing, maintaining, and integrating residential and commercial internet services, including servicing feeder lines that provided client access, laying drops to support VPN-connected enterprises, and installing and maintaining major trunk lines for entire service areas, while also performing end-to-end quality assurance inspections from exchange to demarcation for a team of fifteen.
