I am a full time masters student studing Artificial Intelligence and Ethics at Northeastern University in London. I am an entrepreneur with a deep passion for building awesome products that people love. I have a unique set of skills ranging from design and software development to marketing.
I took time off to reflect on my experience or living and founding a company in China. It took me time to find the best way I can use my skills and experience to create value in the world.
I co-founded KAWO in 2013 along with our CTO Brian van Damme. During my time there we built the business from nothing to an enterprise SaaS product used by the world's top brands. For the majority of my time at KAWO, I was the driving force behind product and set a very clear direction for the company. During my tenure we found product market fit, created industry leading content marketing and achieve revenue break even. After the company raised Series-A investment, a new local Chinese CEO was appointed and took the company in a new direction which didn't align with my values. I made the decision to leave a company I no longer recognised. I'm proud of this decision and so relieved to no longer be associated with the company.
I was a consultant to helping teams digitise the marketing efforts. I built up a deep understanding of the situation and the challenges before designing and implementing digitally driven solutions.
