We know how to heat water up but unless we have water hotter than 80degC, we cannot reverse that process and convert that heat energy back into useful energy again. That is the solution we are building, circumventing Carnot (the Geeks will know). Targeting 2 use cases: Data Centres and Green Fuels. WattChill: Data Centres. Imagine the opportunity when you enable the conversion of low level data centre heat back into electrons to power the racks: >90% energy recycling. Suddenly a 300MW Unit, only needs <30MW energy infrastrutcure. Given the unresolved 140GW DC driven power demand by 2030, this is highly relevant and urgent given regulatory pushbacks. Power, Cooling and Water issues: gone. Community protests: gone. Ocane: The solution is in the problem. By tapping into the ocean’s harmful excess heat and CO₂, we can produce sustainable low cost fuels at scale. We need to move beyond slow, incremental changes and build bankable Gt facilities that can extract and convert Heat and Carbon from the biggest Global Warming and CO₂ storage facility: Our Oceans.
