As an applications engineer my responsibilities include the identification of the potential client’s automated material handling needs, the conceptual engineering of the most innovative, proven and cost effective solution as well as the development of the contract proposal and all associated estimate drawings, calculations and system pricing. Often these tasks are accomplished by direct contact with high profile customers, onsite and offsite, many within the fortune 500. As a dedicated and valuable team member, I was awarded the Department Employee of the Year in 2011.
• Major responsibilities comprise of programming, debugging, installing and on site project management of Autonomous Laser Guided Vehicles (AGV robotics). Worked often as lead field engineer for projects supporting well-known companies in industries including: Defense Contracting, Paper Production, Automotive, Newspaper and Health Care both domestic and international.
Aided in the design and maintenance of automated machinery as a contracted electrical engineer.
Researched and developed innovative web applications for the Rutgers web site using the latest cutting edge technologies to bring together text, video, audio and imagery with an already well established branding.
