My objective is to drive the sustainable urban mobility transition in Europe, with focus on BENELUX and UKI. With a Master’s in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Trento, Italy, I use my technical and strategic skills to help partners create strong innovation proposals. I monitor and coach innovation projects, scout for promising SMEs, start-ups, and public organizations, and ensure projects meet performance and compliance standards. I also work with national and regional programs to align with EIT Urban Mobility’s goals and promote their solutions across Europe. Lead regional innovation activities across the Netherlands, UK, Belgium, Ireland, and Luxembourg, strengthening collaboration between cities, research institutions, industry partners, and startups within the EIT Urban Mobility ecosystem. Oversee a portfolio of collaborative EIT-funded innovation projects, ensuring strategic alignment, performance, and impact across the region. Drive the development of high-quality innovation initiatives, support partners in accessing European and national funding opportunities, and foster cross-sector partnerships to accelerate the deployment and scaling of innovative urban mobility solutions. Act as a key interface between regional stakeholders and the EIT Urban Mobility headquarters to ensure effective programme delivery and regional engagement. Key responsibilities: • Lead the development of collaborative innovation proposals for European and national funding calls • Oversee and manage the regional innovation portfolio within the Innovation Hub • Ensure project performance, monitoring, reporting, and compliance with EIT requirements • Build partnerships with regional and national innovation ecosystems • Facilitate knowledge exchange and scaling of innovation solutions across Europe • Support partners in accessing additional public funding opportunities • Provide strategic guidance to partners on project development and implementation • Coordinate closely with Innovation Hub and HQ teams on programme delivery and communication

To summarise, the main tasks and responsibilities of the role include: • Support partners in preparing collaborative proposals for innovation funding calls • Assist in monitoring and reporting on EIT-funded innovation projects • Facilitate collaboration between cities, industry partners, and research organisations • Support project implementation, demonstrations, and partner coordination • Contribute to the exchange of best practices across the innovation network • Assist partners in navigating funding opportunities and programme requirements • Provide operational support to the Innovation Hub and headquarters teams
