Betolar Plc is a Finnish materials technology company that offers the production of sustainable and low-carbon concrete with the Geoprime® solution. The solution converts several previously unused high-volume industrial side streams into a substitute for cement. Betolar's innovation significantly reduce CO2 emissions at a competitive cost compared to conventional cement-based concrete manufacturing, leveraging the existing manufacturing processes. As Managing Director for Betolar India I was responsible for developing sales for the different business lines in India, focusing on applications and working closely with R&D team to provide business case rationale for market driven product proposals to support Betolar’s business plan.
• New Business Segments: Setting up new building materials business lines – Aggregates (business head with revenues of ~€ 40m), Lime, RMX, Concrete products (AAC block) and new distribution channel (direct to retail).
