As a weighbridge Opt/Assist-Team Leader W/B at First Quantum Minerals, I specialize in commercial operations, Warehouse/Inventory management, and shipment documentation. My responsibilities include preparing and reviewing key documents such as commercial invoices and shipment manifests, generating barcodes, ensuring the accuracy of trucking data, and managing daily shipment plans. I also contribute to safety by conducting daily risk assessments and promoting safe practices within the work environment. I am currently pursuing an International Qualification in Transport and Logistics from Harley Reed South Africa, complementing my Advanced Certificates in Hydraulics and Pneumatic Technology and a Craft Certificate in Automotive Mechanics. -Report and escalate weighbridge system failure -Data input from PODs to Concentrate KML MT Shipment report -Preparing and printing (Commercial invoices, Shipment document, Packing list, Provision weight and assay certificate, Clearing manifest) before dispatching truck loads. -Reviewing and uploading Nickel documents on Metal-Sales -Updating Daily shipment plan and shipment destination allocation for trucks -Create and sending of daily shipment reports -Generating of Barcodes and Shipment documents for Copper/Nickel concentrate trucks. -Conducting daily safety risk assessment around the work area and to ensure recommended safe acts are followed as a key responsibility (M214) -Supervisor Log book entry and handover reports -Uploading Loading Pre-Alerts into MineMan system as per daily shipment plan -Creating movement plans in Mineman system. -Maintaining strict compliance with safety and regulatory standards. - My work optimizes transport efficiency, supporting FQM’s operations at the Sentinel and Enterprise mines. -I ensure accurate vehicle weight measurements for inbound and outbound shipments -I ensure work site compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental rules -Properly Sorting and signing on all documents -Provide other logistical duties and supporting roles as may be deemed by the supervisor that includes being a shift Driver. -Ensure that correct information is being captured in Cargoweigh and MineMan -Ensure that all equipment being used are kept clean, safe and well calibrated. -Ensuring the weighbridge is clean and zero display before allowing trucks to be weighed. -Capture Gross weight and report abnormality in weight. -Type in supplier information into Cargoweigh system and calculate weight difference. -Maintain good record of all material been weighed daily. - Ensure the certification of the weighbridge is valid and updated by Zambia Metrology Agency (ZMA).

To assist in moving items in and around the Warehouse. Pronto XII operation Assist Issuing/Dispatch team in the picking, issuing and dispatch of items. Assist the Receiving team in the receiving and binning process. Assist the Inventory Team with stock take when required. To drive a 3Tons light truck and deliver items Responsible for organizing the dispatch of goods and products. Adhere to health and safety rules. To ensure that all stock has visible part and/or serial numbers. Operate a (2-5Ton) forklift To keep work environment clean by keeping shelves and Stockyard areas neat. Maintains quality service by following Warehouse rules and procedures. To assist in binning items on shelves.
