Abdulvahit Torun, has professional experience over 20 years of business development and management in geospatial science and technology sector. Working extensively across geoinformation sector in Turkey, Eurogeographics, UN-GGIM, UN-GEGN, NATO, He closely worked, cooperated, managed and led teams of multi-disciplinary international groups and achieved successful outcomes by introducing innovative technical and management methods. He is an expert at Shaanxi/China Institute of Geological Survey, a member of program commitee for personal certification at Ministry of Environment and Urbanization of Turkey, and adjunct lecturer in Middle East Technical University and Atılım University in Turkey. Abdulvahit is managing two technology companies running in the sectors of geospatial information, mining and environmental technology and consulting respectively. Abdulvahit Torun, coğrafi mekansal bilgi teknolojileri sektöründe, yirmi yılı aşan iş ve ürün geliştirme ve yönetim deneyimine sahiptir. Türkiye, Avrupa Eurogeograhics, Birleşmiş Milletler UN-GGIM ve Un-GEGN ve NATO dahil olmak üzere geoenformasyon sektöründe, multi-disipliner ve çok uluslu gruplarla birlikte, yaratıcı teknik ve yönetim yaklaşımlarla, başarılı sonuçlar elde eden gruplarda teknik uzman ve yönetici lider olarak yer aldı. Çin/Shaanxi Eyaleti Jeoloji Etütleri Kurumunda aktif araştırmacı olarak, Çevre ve Şehircilik Bakanlığında personel sertifikalandırma komitesi üyesi olarak, Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesinde ve Atılım Üniversitesinde misafir öğretim görevlisi olarak katkı sağlamaktadır. Abdulvahit, geoenformasyon, madencilik ve çevre teknolojileri alanlarında faaliyet gösteren iki firmayı yönetmektedir.
