Provides technical support in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, safety, esting, process improvement or product development. Uses schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipment or systems. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data using established formulae and procedures, and performs detailed mathematical calculations. For higher levels, may suggest and/or make improvements to optimize work processes
• Assembled medical catheters under microscope according to exact specifications, via technical drawings as required • Routine soldering, coil winding, heat-setting, assembly, and inspection • Performed quality checks on assemblies and sub-assemblies, checking products passing workstations on the assembly line to confirm that they are properly assembled and removed defective products from the line according to quality criteria • Rotated through the assembly line to perform all production technical tasks as needed • Collaborated with Engineering team in the Research & Development (R&D) of product re-design • Instrumentation utilized: o Meiji EMZ-8TRH Trinocular Stereo Zoom Microscope o LaserStar 1900 Industrial Laser Welding System o Leica Stereozoom S9i Digital Stereo Microscope o Micro-Vu Vertex 251UC Multisensor Measurement System
