Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia
I build and transform investment platforms and operating businesses, with a particular interest in real estate development and private equity transactions. Throughout my career, I have held senior roles as a Group CFO, Chief Investment Officer, Chief Strategist, Advisor to the Chairman and CEO. These experiences have taught me to view a business as a whole: its strategy, capital structure, assets, people, operating model and capacity to create sustainable value. As a board member and advisor, I work with principals and boards on the decisions that most affect long-term value: where to allocate capital, what to build, what to retain and when to change direction. The common thread across my 30-year career is independent judgment. I believe good analysis should do more than explain the numbers: it should identify the economic reality behind them, challenge assumptions and lead to a clear course of action. I am most effective in CEO mandates where strategy and execution cannot be separated: defining the direction, allocating capital, building the leadership team, establishing accountability and carrying decisions through to results. My focus is on leading a real estate development and investment platform that originates differentiated projects, attracts institutional capital, develops high-quality assets and creates enduring value for investors, communities and future generations.
At AIMS Holding, I held senior leadership roles spanning group finance, investment management, corporate strategy and portfolio-company transformation. I build the Group’s in-house investment capability, oversaw capital allocation and a diversified portfolio across real estate, private equity and capital markets, while strengthening treasury, governance and enterprise risk management. As Chief Strategist and Advisor to the Chairman, I advised on major investment, restructuring, financing and portfolio decisions, translating complex financial and operational realities into clear board-level choices and executable value-creation plans. His work combines the discipline of a CFO, the judgment of an investor and the hands-on perspective of an operator. My work has included multi-year portfolio and cash-flow analysis, debt and liquidity strategy, asset valuation, investment research, forensic due diligence and the development of integrated programmes for board decision and execution. Focus areas: • Corporate strategy and capital allocation • Investment strategy and M&A advisory • Restructuring and transformation • Governance architecture and enterprise risk • Geopolitical, macro, and market intelligence • Private equity and asset management oversight Transformation
As CEO of AIMS Industrial, I led a major strategic and operational transformation that delivered record sales, expanded market share and productive capacity, strengthened pricing and cost discipline, improved receivables and financial controls, and rebuilt the organization around customer service, transparency and accountability. Led the restructuring and repositioning of AIMS Leading Industrial Factory (ALIF) to become the number-one player in two industries in Saudi Arabia and key export markets: building materials and electrical low-voltage copper products. Drove commercial repositioning, operational turnaround, and capital discipline across the business, leveraging thirty-plus years of executive experience navigating competitive local and international markets.
Built and scaled SME lending, auto finance, and consumer-lending product lines, overseeing end-to-end credit model design, underwriting operations, technology build, and commercial execution.
