I'm currently a penultimate year student studying Economics & Finance at Queen Mary University, driven by a genuine curiosity for how markets move and how disciplined strategies create value over time. Over the past year, I've been building various experiences that push me outside the classroom and into the real world of finance and consulting. During my time as an FX Analyst Intern at DFR, I was responsible for writing weekly reports on currency changes, analysing how macroeconomic drivers feed into FX strategy. This not only sharpened my market awareness but also taught me how to communicate complex shifts in a clear, structured way. I have also completed my 3 month internship at Blackmont Consulting as a Business Consultant I worked closely on a project that developed both my analytical and client-facing skills. This experience has allowed me to gain a practical understanding of how strategy and execution come together within a business environment. I've also been fortunate to attend multiple in-person insight days with firms like J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank, Barclays, BlackRock, Dimensional Fund Advisors, and many more. Each gave me a different perspective on the industry - from systematic asset management to global investment banking - and reinforced my drive to carve out a career in this space. What ties all of this together is a simple approach: stay curious, stay disciplined, and make the most of every opportunity. My goal is to build a career in investment banking or asset management, as these are environments where analytical rigour, resilience, and collaboration come together to drive real impact. As I continue to explore more opportunities in finance, I’d love to connect with others in the industry. Please feel free to reach out!
As an analyst at Minds of Tomorrow, I research current financial and economic issues, from market movements to wider macro and geopolitical trends. My aim is to help readers explore topics beyond what's covered in a typical degree programme. I write and publish short-form articles that break down complex ideas into accessible, engaging narratives. These contributions reach over 1,000 readers across multiple platforms and have helped sharpen both my analytical and communication skills.
