Innovating at the intersection of Identity and AI security products
Led a team of 300+ employees globally, across product management, engineering, go to market functions, operations, and security functions, to deliver solutions for thousands of third-party developers who build applications for Amazon Selling Partners. Owned the technology platform and associated developer marketplaces to facilitate secure data access. These third-party applications are used by over 1.8M Amazon Sellers and enable 90%+ of the GMS (Gross Merchandise Sales) transacted on the Amazon Marketplace.
Led a team of 100+ engineers, product managers, designers, scientists, and security experts to invent launch, and operate the first suite for first party technology services for the AWS' sales and marketing team. Scaled adoption of services and supported global customer use cases across vertical market segments. Prior to that, was service leader for VMware Cloud on AWS. Expanded new hybrid cloud solution from a nascent service to $500M annual run rate business. Led all aspects of product, owned direct partnership and corporate negotiations with VMware (quarterly CEO level engagement), and worked directly with go to market organizations across both companies to implement new sales motions.
Conceptualized, proposed, and launched a program to recruit and market startups on Amazon (later named Amazon Launchpad). Selected by senior executives to head this new initiative to provide small businesses and start-ups services including technology solutions, capital, and partnerships for growth. Over three years, launched over 1K startups on Amazon, generating over $5B in sales, including companies such as Ring, eero, and June Oven.
Led sales operations, business development, channel partnerships, and sales efforts for $2B payments business. Effectively oversaw team expansion while executing over two dozen strategic partnerships and growing business +200% Y/Y on a total payment processed basis.
