About

I’m an undergraduate in the WVU Honors College majoring in History with minors in Geography and Native American Studies. In the last year, I’ve held a research internship at Arthurdale Heritage and was awarded a Harrison Fellow from the Historic Landscape Institute, which is held by Monticello and the University of Virginia. I hope to gain even more hands-on research experience as an environmental historian.

The Governor’s Honors Academy (GHA) is the pinnacle opportunity of the West Virginia Governor’s Schools. High school seniors from across the state live on campus for two weeks, learning from educators in the fine arts, science, math, engineering, and more. As an intern with the executive board, I primarily assisted the Resident Director in communicating and leading the developed extra curricular schedule at daily meetings, supplementing the staff of college resident assistants, and ensuring a safe learning environment for all students.
