Work alongside other designers, Engineers, validation personnel and marketing to design, conceptualize and fabricate new gas fireplace technology. Primarily use SolidWorks sheet metal applications and follow a Stage Gate project management processes to aid in the design and launch of hearth products. Consistently utilizing hands-on skills to construct models and test prototypes before production begins.
Working alongside QA, Materials, Automation and the rest of the Engineering team to analyze and improve the production of transmission gears across 3 production lines. Utilize technical skills in Engineering, CAD software, and financial analysis along with soft skills in project management, communication and problem solving to become successful. Constant tracking of documentation pertaining to the manufacturing of automotive parts; FMEA, APQP and SPC are heavily emphasized in this role.
Provide outstanding customer service while serving as the primary contact for automotive customers. Responsible for estimating and quoting prices for customers based on the maintenance their vehicle requires. Enhance and facilitate the sale of maintenance procedures and automotive parts.
Mounting and dismounting tires on a large variety of vehicles. Other tasks include the performance of oil changes, battery swaps, and other vehicle maintenance procedures.
