As a Professional Engineer, I get to work with City's to bring their visions to life. Together, we create a plan with the goal being to provide the community with a project that brings the citizens together. Through experience and creativity, I work to develop a project that makes the community proud of where they live. I have a passion for designing and providing the engineering knowledge for projects that give people a destination to visit from city parks and recreational facilities to the trails that tie them together.
Founded in 1954, Keck + Wood has grown and prospered across the southeast by providing clients with care & professionalism through our quality engineering, landscape architecture, survey and planning expertise. As a project engineer, I leverage a problem-solving engineering skillset to assist communities and municipalities develop their parks, multi-use trails, playgrounds and other recreation facilities. These projects include more detailed solutions geared to move people; such as sidewalks, streetscape, and roadway projects. As a professional engineer I enjoy articulating technical design aspects in ways that all team members and clients can understand; boiling issues down to how they will impact other areas of the design. This effort is visible in the completion of project deliverables, kickoff & progress meetings, utility coordination, and project status updates. My passion is the effect my work contributions have on a community. Creating projects that get a community talking, interacting, and connected is why I chose engineering as a career.
