I am a First-Class graduate of International Relations Social from the University of Southampton, with a passion for Policy, Advocacy & Environmental Governance. My academic focus was specifically on the politics of the environment: climate governance, collective action, environmental ethics, and the gap between international frameworks and real community outcomes. My First-Class dissertation looked at how shifts in public perception shaped the strategic decisions of Greenpeace and Extinction Rebellion; It placed in the top 5% of my department. I have put my conviction to work outside the classroom too. In Fiji, I designed and ran workshops for 60 young people at a time, framing community development around the UN SDGs and Fiji's national development plan and ultimately translating international frameworks into actual action within a cross-cultural environment. I am now looking for roles in climate diplomacy, environmental advocacy, or policy research where rigorous analysis meets the kind of work that actually shifts outcomes. Open to: research, policy analysis, advocacy, NGO, international organisation, or think tank roles with a climate or environment remit.
