I help businesses scale by turning financial data into commercial strategy. Following my ACA qualification in RSM’s M&A team, I have spent several years partnering with leadership at UK industry leaders like Finova and Nextbase to optimize revenue portfolios and drive double-digit growth.
Strategic Finance Business Partner for a market-leading SaaS platform. Responsible for commercial oversight of revenue portfolios exceeding £40m+ (£30m+ ARR) and managing a £20m+ cost base. Whilst in my role I have been able to develop my Power BI skills alongside fine tuning stakeholder management and assisting with the onboarding of an acquisition.
Hands on experience as a Commercial Finance Business Partner ensuring continuity across all departments. Producing weekly short term cash flows to ensure liquidity and working alongside all departments to ensure accurate reporting and navigating pinch points ahead of time. Key part in the budgeting process working with all departmental leads to create accurate targets for all revenue and cost lines, working on reforecasts every quarter to provide accurate full year outturns. Analysing, summarising and presenting monthly spending to department leads, ensuring tracking to budget.
I spent four years working within the M&A team in RSM Manchester. During my time I worked on a variety of projects, ranging from full sale processes of limited companies, to raising VC finance for growing businesses. Whilst working at RSM I was also able to pass my ACA exams which has resulted in me becoming a qualified ICAEW Chartered Accountant.
Throughout my year I have helped to provide analytical and research support to the Portfolio Team, which has included: • Supporting in the monthly reporting and analysis of our portfolio companies to highlight areas of weaknesses across the portfolio. • Support on internal projects and analysis for improving Endless’ processes. • While they will typically be analytical and research-based, projects have varied depending on business needs and market trends.
I worked on a number of temporary contracts for multi-national corporations including ASOS, O2 Telenomics, Jimmy Choo and Hearst Magazines. My roles were varied but included working front of house, data entry and general admin.
