About

Ethnogerontologist I Catholic Womanist Theologian I Chaplain I’m a purpose-driven healthcare and education professional at the intersection of gerontology, pastoral theology, and community health empowerment. With a career spanning over 15 years, I have served as an Associate Chaplain, Program Director, and Founder, delivering holistic care, academic enrichment, and culturally competent outreach to underserved older African American communities. Whether offering spiritual support at the bedside, mentoring students in the classroom, or leading national conversations on aging equity, my work is guided by compassion, advocacy, and an unwavering commitment to dignity for all. I specialize in intergenerational leadership, culturally responsive education, and inclusive health program design — from chronic disease self-management to advance care planning in Black Catholic communities. As the Founder of African Americans In Gerontology and a current doctoral candidate at Emory University, I continue to amplify voices often unheard, build bridges across generations, and influence systemic change through scholarship and service. My toolkit includes strategic planning, public speaking, curriculum design, grant facilitation, and a passion for community-rooted transformation. ✨ Let’s connect if you’re passionate about health equity, aging with dignity, or transforming care through culturally informed leadership.
