About

I am a 2nd year MBBS student at UCL. I am interested in a wide range of clinical specialties, and am curious to gain insights across the entire spectrum of what medicine has to offer. I am also particularly interested in neurodegenerative disease, having written a 10000 word dissertation on Alzheimer's and prion disease. I am hoping to ultimately combine clinical medicine with research in this field. I am passionate about supporting medical applicants and have run or participated in several schemes aimed at state school students applying to medicine. Currently, I work as a MedicHut tutor for the UCAT, interviews and personal statements. I have also organised for 75+ state school students that discussed the entire application process, and participated in the UCL Next Top Doctor outreach scheme. Always happy to chat and give advice to prospective medical students looking for guidance. Outside of medicine, I am on the UCL W1 Fencing team and have competed internationally (representing Estonia) in fencing.
