Help develop young athletes' skills in the sport. Assist with running practices, providing coaching in and out of the pool, and helping athletes improve their technique and teamwork. Oversee day-game operations from the booth, managing scorekeeping, game clock, shot clock, and sound system to ensure smooth gameplay and a professional environment for athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators.
Hold current certification in CPR and Heimlich maneuver. Manage the opening and closing procedures of the pool. Oversee first aid, emergency response, and water rescues when necessary.
Supported low-income students through academic and enrichment activities as part of the Horizons at Foote School tuition-free program. Developed and refined a curriculum designed to improve swimming skills and water safety. Closely monitored each child's progress, taking notes and providing ongoing evaluations to ensure their continued development and safety in the water.
