As a recent Aviation BSc graduate currently pursuing my Master’s degree, I am deeply committed to advancing safety and operational excellence in the aviation industry. My academic and professional focus lies in continued airworthiness, air operations, and aviation safety—areas in which I continuously deepen my expertise and actively apply it in practice. I am currently employed as a Safety Officer in a Part-145 Maintenance Organisation, where I support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System (SMS), contribute to hazard identification and risk assessment. This role allows me to combine my academic background with hands-on operational experience in a safety-critical environment. I have developed strong competencies in continuing airworthiness, particularly in aircraft maintenance, regulatory compliance, and aviation legislation. Working with aviation regulations comes naturally to me, and I was honoured to teach a lecture on the subject at the very institution where I began my own journey in aviation. In 2025, I had the privilege of serving as the Technical Documentation Team Lead in the AIAA-hosted Design Build Fly competition, where our team earned first place among 110 international teams—a milestone that reflects both our technical expertise and collaborative strengths. My passion extends beyond technical operations to the human side of aviation. I am especially interested in human factors and aviation psychology, and in how these disciplines contribute to building a safer, more resilient aviation industry. Additionally, I consider myself an altruistic person and volunteer as a paramedic with the Rotes Kreuz Steiermark, believing in using my skills and energy to support others—whether in the skies or on the ground.
