In my role as a Hostess and Waitress at Café Léoube in scenic Bormes-les-Mimosas, France, I was entrusted with optimizing the dining experience for our diverse clientele. My responsibilities ranged from warmly welcoming guests and skillfully managing seat planning to efficiently answering queries and handling reservations. Balancing these duties required a keen sense of organization and the ability to multitask, skills which I honed daily. Additionally, I served as a key point of contact for customers seeking information, which enabled me to develop strong verbal and written communication skills.
In the month of June, I had the enriching opportunity to contribute to community service at Marie de Colonge-Bellerive in Geneva. Under the mentorship of seasoned professionals, I was actively involved in various maintenance activities aimed at enhancing the overall well-being of the local community. My duties ranged from caring for public greenery and plants to managing waste disposal and ensuring the cleanliness of the streets. This hands-on experience not only provided me with a deep understanding of public maintenance operations but also underscored the importance of meticulous planning and teamwork in sustaining a clean and vibrant community. The role was an eye-opener in many ways, teaching me invaluable lessons in civic responsibility, environmental stewardship, and the interconnectedness of community members.
