As a Nursing Assistant in a residential retirement/care facility, I support residents in their daily activities and contribute to maintaining their dignity, well-being, and quality of life. My responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, supporting mobility and safe transfers, accompanying residents during restroom visits, and providing assistance with meals when required. In addition, I contribute to general care, supervision, and activation activities, helping to promote residents’ physical and cognitive engagement. I have been performing this role on a recurring basis since 2023, working during university breaks on a flexible weekly or monthly schedule, depending on academic commitments.
During the last four months of my employment at kika, I was responsible for managing and overseeing the “Trends by kika” department. My core responsibilities included proactive customer engagement, conducting sales and advisory consultations, and ensuring a professional and well-presented appearance of the department at all times. In addition, I provided professional guidance and day-to-day support to an apprentice, contributing to their development and integration into the team.
