I am a Chemical Engineer with a strong background in thermodynamics, process engineering, and applied research, currently working as a chemical and research engineer at Microwave Solutions GmbH. My work focuses on the recovery of high-value products from microwave depolymerization of plastic and resin materials, spanning virgin to waste feedstocks, small-scale experimentation through to pilot-scale operations. In my current role, I work closely with senior technical leadership on experimental design, process optimization, and scale-up considerations. My experience includes analyzing chemical breakdown pathways during depolymerization, defining operational conditions, designing high-temperature vapor transport and separation systems, and optimizing processes to maximize yield while balancing safety, cost, and practicality. I have also been involved in safety and control system design, applying ASME and API codes for pressure relief, venting, and hazard mitigation, as well as managing operators during system start-up, shutdown, and operation. I am a self-motivated and analytical engineer who works well under pressure, communicates clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and is driven by continuous learning and improvement. I am particularly interested in advanced thermal processes, sustainable resource recovery, and bridging the gap between experimental research and industrial application.
