Driving this Tech Start-Up from initial idea towards a global changemaking company. I blend my expertise in alternative water sources with the solar industry with technical precision and bold decisions. To be able to thrive Cosmotaics I fully engage with my role as CEO spending time as much in the desert and the workshop as in the office and at events. If I envision a future where solar parks can also generate water and nobody does it, then I have to do it. This is why I built a team and use all the things I learned for this endeavor. Starting something like this with my closest friends as a team is clearly fulfilling and one of the most interesting professional steps I have taken so far.
During my tenure at Alchemia-Nova, I was creating innovative, sustainable solutions that address water scarcity and contribute to environmental restoration. It meant collaborative ideation, prototyping in the workshop, testing on the field and writing scientific papers. After several creations like the WaterFlower or the in-situ water filter, I focused on one particular innovation: The Solar Desalination Greenhouse. Leading this R&D project, meant specializing in innovative atmospheric water harvesting and use of halophytes for saline agriculture. The work involved developing 7 Greenhouses for Africa and Europe from concept to the construction and operation of it. It was a great endeavor in countries like Namibia, Greece, South Africa and Ghana. Generally speaking, the work at Alchemia meant sustainable water management solutions, nature-based methods, and international collaborations within an EU framework.

Mein zweiter Abschnitt in Ecuador war begleitet von einem tollen Wasserprojekt und einem erbarmungslosen Erdbeben. Durch eine selber gestartete Organisation und Crowdfunding konnte ich mir den Aufenthalten leisten und zusätzlich kam Unterstützung für Projekte rein.
Vormittags war für eine Schule mit beeinträchtigten Kindern bestimmt. Am Programm stand Unterricht am Computer, Sport und Malen in Zeichensprache. Nachmittags fuhr ich mit dem Motorrad, im Dienst einer Bauerngenossenschaft, in die umliegenden Sparkassen im Kanton Pedro Carbo, mehr dazu hier:
