My work is centered on solving thermal and process engineering challenges by combining strong chemical engineering fundamentals with practical industrial experience. Throughout my career in oil & gas, refinery, and petrochemical projects, I have contributed to both process and thermal engineering activities, including thermal calculations, equipment sizing, design verification, vendor document review, technical bid evaluation, and engineering support across different stages of project execution. Built on a strong foundation in heat transfer and thermal engineering, my work has focused on the thermal design, rating, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation of Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers, Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers, Condensers, and Reboilers using HTRI and Aspen EDR. I also have a strong technical background in the thermal analysis, design principles, and performance evaluation of Fired Heaters. Beyond engineering calculations, I enjoy developing practical engineering tools, structured review methods, and calculation templates that simplify engineering workflows. I also enjoy analyzing thermal systems beyond software outputs, combining practical experience with sound engineering judgment to solve real industrial challenges and support reliable technical decisions. I am particularly interested in thermal engineering, heat transfer, fired heaters, energy efficiency, and equipment performance improvement. With expertise in both process and thermal engineering, I enjoy turning complex engineering problems into practical, reliable solutions that support sound engineering decisions.
• Thermal Equipment Design: Performed design and rating of Shell & Tube and Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers using HTRI and Aspen EDR. •Mentorship & Training: Co-led training programs on Process Fired Heaters to enhance team technical capabilities. • Analytical Modeling: Conducted simulations /calulations for complex heat transfer challenges, including Ethylene vaporizers (supercritical fluids), and tank heat loss analysis, winterization of air-cooled heat exchangers. • Vendor Document Review (VDR): Evaluated manufacturer technical documents for various heat transfer equipment. Developed and updated standardized checklists to improve the accuracy and efficiency of technical reviews. • Collaborative Decision-Making: Analyzed vendor proposals and collaborated with multi-disciplinary teams to select optimal designs and manufacturers.
-Preparing and developing process drawings and documents such as PID, PFD, UDD and UFD. - Preparing instruments data sheets, equipment lists, utility consumption tables, etc. - Hydraulic calculations (Line sizing, pump and control valve). - Pressure relief valve (PSV) load calculations. - Evaluating vendor’s offers (at proposal stage) and attending kick of meeting and checking of selected vendor documents.
