Disciplinary responsibility for covering the entire service portfolio (Operations & Projects) of RHI Magnesita in the region of Europe, CIS & Turkey across all industries (steel, cement, lime, non ferrous metals, refineries, petrochemicals, waste to energy, glass, ...)
Functional responsibility for the entire operations of our service offering globally (involving around 3000 internal and external employees). Leading a highly qualified team serving the entire refractory installation market in Europe, CIS, Turkey and Middle East.
Leading a multidisciplinary department comprised of ~40 team members which performs support tasks to the entire Refractory Services BU and provides technical expertise to our clients worldwide. Initiated & leading a reshaping project to drive technical supervision towards a digital, connected & regionalized setup for more competitiveness and customer centricity in servicing our clients. Leading the FLS/OSS integration project which incorporates all contracts worldwide where RHIM executes work on site of the clients on a permanent/frequent basis. In total more than 400 internal FTEs and more than 1,000 external FTEs will be affected by this change. Contributing to an internal project as work package leader for “variabilization and outsourcing”, identifying more than 3,5 mn€ of savings.
Leading a multidisciplinary organization comprised of 80 team members (14 different nationalities) split into six departments. Reshaping of the project organization in order to execute the increased investment portfolio by establishing a new organizational structure, process landscape and implementation of supporting IT-Tools (e.g. Cleopatra, 4D Planning and SAP interfaces). Responsible for development and implementation of a significantly increased investment portfolio amounting to around EUR 1 billion, thereby taking ideas through all the phases of maturation to execution of the investment and final handover to Operations. Development of a holistic contract and supplier strategy in order to create competition for executing the project portfolio as cost effective as possible. Personally leading contract negotiations for the most important investments. Frequent presentation and alignment with the Executive Board to drive strategic decisions and defining next steps for the portfolio.
Leading a multidisciplinary department comprised of 30 team members split into four teams. Integrated progress reporting and cost controlling for the entire investment portfolio in all locations of OMV Downstream Oil Division with a yearly investment expenditure of approximately EUR 400 million. Further development of technical project execution methodologies and systems in combination with cost estimation, resource and time planning as well as risk, contract & claim management.
Leading a department comprised of six team members. Steering the investment portfolio (starting from idea qualification through to final implementation of respective investments) of the three refineries in Burghausen (DE), Schwechat (AT) und Ploiesti (RO) as well as tank storage & loading terminals. Achieve combined portfolio hurdle rate for entire investment program.
Leading a team comprised of four team members. Develop cost estimates, planning & scheduling, risk management as well as progress reports aligned within integrated refinery system.
