Research of a test rig for testing rotary hammer drills without concrete and without drill bits. Development of measurement technology for recording impact numbers and drilling torques. Carrying out impact number and drilling torque tests using Design of Experiments (DoE). Statistical analysis of the results. Modeling of the drill-concrete contact. Development of hardware and control technology for mapping the number of impacts and drilling torque on the hammer drill. Production, construction and commissioning of the hammer drill test rig.
Group leader of the Power Tool research group at the IPEK - Institute for Product Development. Activities: Project acquisition, submission of research proposals, staff management, appraisal interviews and staff development, quality control (project results and publications), staff recruitment, budget planning, co-development of the chair's strategy, representation of the chair at public events.
Preparation of a research proposal with a volume of 1.6 million euros to set up a research environment for analyzing human-technology interactions. Project management, planning, coordination, execution of the installation and commissioning of the proposed research environment.
