For more than 20 years, I have worked with Nevada employers on the full range of labor and employment law issues. I have seen firsthand how quickly the rules change and how costly mistakes can be when businesses do not have the right guidance at the right time. Before my current role, I served as Nevada Labor Commissioner and later as a member of the Nevada Ethics Commission. Those experiences gave me a unique perspective on how employment laws are enforced, how regulatory decisions are made, and what employers need to stay compliant while still running successful organizations. Today, I serve as CEO of the Nevada Association of Employers. NAE has supported Nevada businesses for more than 80 years and exists to help employers succeed in an increasingly complex workplace environment. Our members rely on NAE for practical support in human resources, labor and employment law, training, government relations, and compensation data. That means staying ahead of legal and regulatory changes, providing accurate pay and benefits benchmarking, and giving employers the tools and expertise they need when decisions matter. I believe compliance should be practical, not academic, and that strong workplaces are built by informed and prepared leaders. That principle guides the work we do every day at NAE.
