I started as Junior Analyst and was promoted to the Analyst role a couple of years later. With the Analyst role, I was able to assist the overall project manager with some project coordination duties and help in ensuring the positive completion of the research project. I also spearheaded some data processing and prepared presentation/report decks in close coordination with the Senior Analysts/Consultants for the company’s Ad Hoc consulting services. Apart from these, my duties also included analyzing broadband markets (wired, wireless), monitoring competition mechanisms, and conducting interviews which all form part of the company’s market research and trend reports.
As an intern of the Talent Acquisition team, I served as one of the frontline officers of the department ensuring that the daily pool of candidates and applicants are being professionally managed and administered to the company’s talent screening processes. In the said role, I was able to provide administrative support to the recruitment officers via coordinating application feedback to applicants, as well as ensuring that the department's talent sourcing tracker is regularly updated.
As a research intern, I am responsible mainly for providing information and data gathering support to the Analyst related to the Image Processing and Document Solutions market. Part of the duty is to generate macroeconomic updates; and reach out to some industry informants and sales channels representatives to gather further qualitative insights as part of the team’s quarterly and other specialized market studies (e.g. SEAN-focused technology study).
