Below is the description of my job at Versuni, formerly known as Philips Domestic Appliances: • Technical team lead in development of Solutions for connected propositions, new products and architecture platforms in the Domestic appliances context, coordinating and planning the development activities of both the product and the digital development teams as well as related external resources in order to identify our customer main pain points, prioritize them and eventually achieving a tailored solution architecture • Responsible, in tight cooperation with marketing, management team and customer representatives for technology range definitions anchored to solution and product roadmaps and ranges build up •Responsible for the solution, product and platform requirements development and management according to the user and business requirements and to the applicable standards, and to elaborate, evaluate and select the product architecture (technical solutions, modules and interfaces) taking into account all relevant requirements from industrial design, development, manufacturing and supply chain • Managing and coordinating external suppliers during development phase and till product launch on the market • DfSS Black Belt certified in 2014, I am using the methodology and related mindset on a daily basis in all the projects and activities I perform on top of being an ambassador within the company leveraging and supporting other people and teams to accordingly improve the way of working. • Expert and reference person leading root cause analyses ranging from product to process issues with direct report to top management. • Responsible for the requisition and technical selection, according relevant API standards, of couplings, load gearboxes and auxiliary equipment for high performance turbo machineries. • I took in charge customer requirements translating them into technical specifications in coordination with the project team, and managed suppliers, being responsible for the final product, from the design phase till success-ful delivery and testing of the machines on the field. • Being responsible for the rotor-dynamic behaviour of the trains, I was evaluating torsional and lateral analyses, I was responsible for the machine train cold shaft alignment and to perform vibration diagnosis in the field. • I was leading several root cause analyses, involving and coordinating suppliers and internal and external relat-ed resources. • I often attended to customer meetings and carry out visit at the site and at supplier workshops. • Between 2009 and 2010 I was awarded with the GE “Customer Impact Award”, with the GE award for Quality and with the “GE Innovation award” due to different tasks held concerning the design of innovative train axis lines and the standardization of design activities;
Test Engineer in Sint Technology (Florence), a renowned company in the field of the measurements of performance, vibrations, noise and structural stresses of machines in industrial plants. I was engaged in the following activities: - Torque vibration analysis of compressor trains couplings using the strain gauge technique and FEM approach; - Research and development of new applicative methodologies for the measurement over machines; - Uncertainty evaluation of measurements conducted in thermo-electrical plants (flow rate, electrical power, temperatures) by means of the prevailing regulations.
