- Manages Aperam’s in-house bank, overseeing multi-currency cross-border cash pooling arrangements with several banking partners to optimize liquidity at Group level. - Drives the development and operation of Aperam’s payment factory, embedding treasury best practices, standardizing processes, and ensuring timely, controlled execution of cash flows. - Oversees Group cash forecasting, producing weekly liquidity forecasts, monitoring global cash positions in multiple currencies, and coordinating with the dealing room on short-term investments (deposits, MMFs, etc.). - Supervises treasury accounting processes, ensuring accurate and timely integration of cash and treasury postings into SAP and other ERPs, supporting financial control and reporting accuracy. - Leads the design and maintenance of treasury infrastructure, including system parameters, cash pooling structures, global bank account frameworks, and reconciliation processes. - Directs bank account management and banking relationships related to cash management and operations, ensuring cost efficiency, optimal fee structures, secure bank connectivity, and compliance with treasury policies. - Leads and develops a team of 3 professionals, fostering expertise, continuous improvement, and alignment with Group treasury objectives.
- Supported the management of Aperam’s in-house bank by operating multi-currency, cross-border cash pool structures with several international banking partners. - Administered bank accounts and managed day-to-day banking relationships, covering operational aspects such as fee monitoring, credit transfers, direct debits, and secure bank connectivity. - Maintained and enhanced Aperam’s payment factory, promoting treasury best practices and ensuring efficient execution of Group cash plans. - Prepared and monitored the Group’s weekly cash forecasts, tracked liquidity positions across multiple currencies, and coordinated with the dealing room on short-term investments (cash deposits, money market funds, etc.). - Handled treasury-related accounting processes, ensuring accurate postings into SAP and other ERP systems, supporting financial reporting and control.
-Monitored and controlled daily treasury Front Office transactions, ensuring compliance with authorized limits on notionals, quantities, and P&L impact. -Oversaw market risk controls across FX, interest rates, commodities, and energy, performing post-trade reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies between Front Office and Back Office. -Produced comprehensive treasury reporting, including daily P&L, portfolio mark-to-market valuations, Value-at-Risk calculations, risk matrices, and FX position monitoring. -Managed Aperam’s supply chain financing programs (Forfaiting and True Sales of Receivables), handling day-to-day operations and implementing new structures to expand the Group’s financing portfolio. -Acted as key contact for supervisory institutions such as the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF), ensuring timely and accurate responses to regulatory requests. -Ensured daily EMIR reporting compliance and managed trade confirmations across all market transactions. -Contributed to quarterly and annual closing processes, including preparation for internal and external audits. -Maintained up-to-date procedures and documentation, supporting robust governance and audit readiness.
- Cash pooling activities for the holding company and treasury management; - Monitor and instruct manual payments through Swift, and bond settlement via Euroclear for the Front Office's financial markets transactions which involved: fixed income portfolio (bonds trade), money market products (REPO, securities lending, depo, commercial paper), FX trade ( FX Swaps, FX forward IRS, CCIRS, NDF, Options); - Control the bank confirmations, intercompany communications and input in SAP as well as in-house treasury program tool; - Prepare, analyze and update reports and forecasts related to exposition, liquidity and securities balance; - Registration/Accounting of Front Office's transactions in SAP and data extraction for tailor-made report; - Control the cash securities positions; - Monitor flows and confirmations between banks and inter-companies; -Support the financial and regulatory (EMIR, SFTR) reporting activities; - Liaise with the Telecom Italia Cash Management and Back Office departments; - Liaise with banks to address any account issues and queries;
