Biography Dillip Rajakarier Chief Executive Officer, Minor Hotels Chief Operating Officer, Minor International Dillip Rajakarier is CEO of Minor Hotels (MH) and COO of Minor International (MINT). Rajakarier joined MH in 2007 as Chief Finance & Investment Officer and was promoted to COO in 2008. In 2011 he was promoted to CEO. During his time with the company he has seen the group’s core Anantara brand grow from just a handful of properties to become a leading operator and developer, currently with 38 luxury properties in operation. Since joining MH from Orient-Express Hotels, Trains & Cruises, Rajakarier has been instrumental in the expansion of the hotel portfolio, including the addition of ‘Elewana Afrika’, a strategic partnership with Sun International, the acquisition of Oaks Hotels & Resorts and acquiring Tivoli Hotels & Resorts. Most recently MINT was transformed into a truly global hospitality company following the successful acquisition of NH Hotel Group in October 2018, which increased MINT’s overall portfolio to 529 hotels and resorts in 53 countries across the Middle East, Asia Pacific, Europe, South America, Africa and the Indian Ocean.
