Visionary MVNO • Low-Cost Innovation • Digital-First Mobile Services As the founder of Bip Mobile, I launched one of the most visionary MVNO projects in the Italian telecom market. The company was built around a forward-looking idea: delivering simple, transparent and affordable mobile services through a digital-first, lean and customer-centric model, years before this approach became standard in the industry. I designed the business strategy, product philosophy and market positioning, creating an MVNO inspired by the most innovative European players. Bip Mobile introduced: • SIM-only offers and a streamlined digital onboarding experience, • a clear and accessible pricing model, • a modern operational structure leveraging 3G network capabilities, • a retail and distribution vision aimed at simplifying access to mobile services. Although short-lived, Bip Mobile represented one of the most ambitious and forward-thinking attempts to reshape the Italian mobile landscape, anticipating trends that would later redefine the entire industry.
Pioneering 3G Technology • Digital Media • Mobile Platforms • Proprietary Tech , Web Portal I founded ONEITALIA following the merger of Contelia and Intelia, creating one of the very first companies worldwide to develop and commercialize proprietary, in-house technology for the emerging 3G ecosystem. Our platforms powered streaming content services, digital payments, and cross-channel mobile experiences at a time when 3G was debuting globally—Italy being the first country in the world to launch it. ONEITALIA was also the first company to export 3G content and payment platforms internationally, deploying its technology across multiple markets and media groups. The company combined WEB publishing (e.g. Leonardo.it) with advanced MOBILE value-added services, building one of the earliest integrated digital ecosystems in Europe. A unique achievement: ONEITALIA became the first tech company in the world to win a Digital Gold Disc, thanks to a record-breaking project with Italian artist Gigi D’Alessio.
Business Development – 3G Services, Digital Payments & Broadband Content Platforms At CONTELIA I drove commercial growth in one of the first Italian companies developing advanced solutions for 3G technology, digital payments, and broadband streaming platforms. My role focused on expanding strategic partnerships and building a high-value content ecosystem. Key responsibilities & achievements: • Led business development initiatives with mobile operators, media groups, and technology partners. • Managed content acquisition and licensing across music, movies, gaming, and entertainment services. • Negotiated commercial agreements with major international labels including Sony BMG, Universal Music, Warner Music, and leading independent publishers. • Supported the rollout of value-added services for 3G networks, integrating premium digital content and innovative payment models. • Identified new revenue opportunities and helped launch early social networking and community platforms for mobile audiences (Invideo - Incontri) • Collaborated with cross-functional teams (tech, product, marketing) to design and commercialize new digital offerings. This experience strengthened my expertise in partnerships, digital content monetization, and go-to-market strategy, laying the foundation for my future roles in sales leadership and digital ecosystem development.
