I am a BSc Honours graduate and Golden Key Recipient in the field of Quantity Surveying from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. I also completed a course as an accredited Green Building Professional. I have thus far gained knowledge and skill through part time and full time work experience. I seven years of work experience as an quantity surveyor/cost manager. I have gained valuable experience and skills in the quantity surveying/cost management field. I have gained practical experience through on-site and in-office measuring, cost plans, tendering, claims and valuations, professional payment schedules, payment certificates, and final account close-out. My current employment is as a intermediate quantity surveyor/cost management. I have worked on projects in the health, corporate occupier, mixed-use developments, retail and recreational sectors. I am passionate about my work as a quantity surveyor/cost manager and feel that I am flexible, adaptable to my environment and a team player. I strive to be accurate and precise in my work in order to achieve the best possible outcomes.
