• Contributed to the acquisition and development of a full-service broker-dealer in the UK regulated by the FCA, Britannia Capital Markets Limited • Represented the group in several Institutional wholesale conferences and successfully initiated key business connections with several service providers (offering; Core Banking Systems, Multi-Currency Correspondent Banking Relationships, Trading Systems, Debit/Credit Card programs, CRM and Wealth Management Systems).
• Prepared macroeconomic reports for internal use, which were key for the daily pre-market strategy assemblies. • Led a project to acquire a new core banking system provided by FIS. • Conducted daily operations with intra-bank counterparties in order to ensure internal liquidity within the credit risk and liquidity risk parameters. • Formed part of the propriety trading team that managed the banks securities portfolio as well as solicited client investment accounts.
• Contracted and followed up ocean freight with German container line Hapag-Lloyd to ship Aluminum granules from Puerto Cabello (VE) to Rotterdam in 20'containers. • Guided the process of purchase-sale contract negotiation, preparation of logistics/transport, shipping documentation such as Bill of Lading, Quality Certificate, Certificate of Weight and Certificate of Origin for a Ferro-nickel transaction between Venezuela and Finland.
