With over 15 years of experience in the chemicals industry, I have developed a diverse and versatile skill set in product, design, R&D, B2B, B2C, OEM, production, and science material. My dual qualifications in design and engineering enable me to combine creativity and functionality in my solutions. I am passionate about creating a positive environmental impact through ecological chemistry. In 2020, I felt this inner fire and wanted to work on the next step of my journey. Soon after, I started researching, developing, failing, learning, and improving what eventually became a fresh path and my main focus. I have founded Platypus, a startup that empowers the chemical market to transition to more sustainable practices. At Platypus, we transform pest management solutions with the controlled release of bio-organic compounds that reduce pesticides, toxins, health risks, waste, pollution, and carbon footprint. At the same time, our partners benefit from higher product value, cost reduction, and shorter time to market. I am happy to connect with passionate people who are making (or at least trying to make) an impactful environmental change.
Joe's No Flats is a brand by Adhestick Innovations for bicycle products and accessories. ● Led the process of rebranding an international bicycle accessories brand. ● Defined product specifications across the brand and its international customer base. ● Designed graphics and packaging for the products and established the production process for new products ● Facilitated improvements to products to enhance the customer experience ● Developed instructions for production activities and Quality Assurance tests for the Operations Department. ● Created and introduced a sponsorship program for the brand and responded to any requests. ● Managed marketing and communications activities, including writing a monthly newsletter and developing two Facebook pages and an Instagram account – created all content for social media accounts. ● Provided support and top-class customer service for end users. ● Designed the brand booth for displays at international exhibitions and participated in various industry events.
In addition to the position as the product and brand manager for Joe's No Flats brand, I supported Adhestick in other unique and sensitive tasks. ● Headed up three projects for company websites, including an e-Commerce website. ● Done research to recommend management on new markets to enter in agriculture and adhesives fields. ● Created and established new systems and procedures for production orders, packaging orders, Technical Data Sheets, and Safety Data Sheets. ● Managed the company's domains and websites. ● Centered the field of intellectual property in the company.
Worked as part of the R&D team and together we developed adhesives and coatings by the customer's needs. During my time as part of the R&D team, I improved the organization of files and records by implementing a new system that saved time, minimized errors and accelerated productivity. Also, I formulated new products by customers' requirements and defined the required QA processes for it. I took a big in the process of transferring new products from development to production.
Worked under the CEO for special and complicated projects. During my time, I led the following projects: - Reorganization of the working processes for the R&D department. - Created a platform for the company's knowledge conservation. - Created and embedded new forms of production orders, packaging orders, MSDS, and TDS. - Operated a Facebook account, including content management and creation. - Set up two websites for the company.
