Building the robust, reliable and highly available robotic platform the Gravis system builds on top of by enabling the team members to work effectively with pragmatic best practices and the right tools. Establishing best practices around software engineering and software packaging & deployment company wide by introdcuing them in the platform team and spreading it across the company.
Developing high quality software subsystems end to end in C++23 and Python >3.11 using state of the art software development principles. Specifically around configuration management, inter-machine communication, external APIs, real time communication & networking.
Design, implementation, operation and marketing of iOS applications and back-end services for clients and in-house. Currently main focus on iOS application "PlusPoints - Notenrechner" which was downloaded over 200'000 times in Switzerland.
Working as a Software Engineer close with the Hardware and Electronics Team to streamline the manufacturing and deploying of drones to warehouses. Also working on cutting edge technology to enable swarms of drones to fly alongside Drake, Céline Dion and Metallica on stage.
