• Manage a team of reporting specialists and business analysts providing services for the Customer function • Ensure operational and performance reports are prepared on time and with accuracy. • Simplification and standardization of GBS Customer reports according to global standards. • Ensure business analysis is in place for key KPIs and deviations, relevant compliance and process driven proposals are provided proactively to the GBS to drive a more efficient process or business activity. • Provide healthy challenge on targets, trends for key processes driving key business results. • Hire, train, and manage team performance, create and implement objectives and development plans for direct reports. • Ensure fundamental business processes are embedded and adhered to consistently throughout the BSC. • Develop and maintain internal and external relationships regarding specific business issues. • Support the Director, Customer Leads and peers with functional execution of specific accountability and advisory role on reporting and KPIs • Ensure that all processes are compliant with ISO accreditation. • Conduct continuous reviews and take actions to improve individual, team, and GBS performance.
Strategy and Planning •Supports the annual planning process, ensuring plans are appropriately challenged and assured for the designated business. •Produces detailed forecasts covering volume, revenue, cost, margin and RCOP as informed by the LBM process, drawing insights and highlighting areas where performance targets are not being met. Business Partnering and Performance Insights •Establish & maintain a proactive business partnering relationship between Finance and the local entity sales director(s) to ensure underlying performance is well understood, to proactively challenge and propose performance improvements, and to monitor & investigate anomalies & trends. •Partners with other business stakeholders to provide detailed analysis of focus areas of performance, providing insights and interventions and associated analysis (V&Os) ensuring integrity & sufficient challenge. •Own the Local monthly LBM financialisation process and supporting processes – eg COGS & where applicable, Trade Loan forecasts, working with ARC and GSC analysts. •Supports regular forward looking competitor analysis and insight gathering. Performance Reporting •Translates financial and operational performance for the businesses and evaluates and articulates the underlying delivery of actuals vs. latest forecasts on a monthly basis to incorporate into the plan and current outlook for the year. •Provides input to the Cluster Head Office channel of the recharge process for the entities, ensuring costs are recharged to countries fairly and accurately. •Support the ARC manager, in partnership with GBS, in completing Close activities, and with the review and completion of BSI activities for relevant accounts. •Support the drive for continuous improvement in MI to ensure integrity & accuracy and to meet advances in business requirements. Leadership •Contribute to the Performance networks across all clusters to share learnings and solutions.
• To provide timely and insightful financial analysis to support all key business decisions • To run the key reporting processes to ensure timely completion of budget, forecast and actual information requirements, coordinating across the region, meet agreed group deadlines • To develop, implement and provide suitable financial reports to meet the needs of various business partners • To act as support (business analysis) to the Area Management Teams, working closely with the Controlling team lead and respective Global and Regional contacts • To provide training and support to staff across the region in the effective use of financial reporting systems to ensure effective control of the business • Ad hoc projects as necessary to support the business
- To be the first point of contact between the GE Industrials and GE Capital. Dedicated to solve complex issues and assisting with day to day queries from our Clients. Build and maintain strong internal/external networks/point of contact to support effective query resolution; - Producing accurate financial reports, utilizing industry-specific software platform to gather and analyse relevant financial Data; - To highlight trends and offer pro-active solutions to the Client, creating weekly reports and presentations for clients verifications; - To review output/input data and provide recommendations to the business for process improvement; - Maintain a strong Knowledge of core systems, processes and reporting across a broad range of portfolios; - Translated company financial objectives into metrics that are used to chart progress in order to support the GSO team In preparation for Client meetings and attend as required; - Accountable for managing the delivery of critical projects, and for providing managerial support for all the projects conducted within the Client Service Team.
