I am driven by the belief that science and technological development, despite bearing part of the responsible for global environmental crises, hold the key to the solutions of a sustainable future. In a world of scarce resources, globalization without new technology is unsustainable. Realistically, there will be no durable change without a coordinated effort between innovation, policy makers and the commitments of corporations. I believe in capitalism, but under its modern definition that gives accountability to stakeholders, it is our best tool to make virtuous global impacts. I am very concerned about growing inequalities and the increasing pressure on natural habitats of our (all living species) home planet. My generation has a moral duty to invest whatever knowledge, capabilities, or creative thinking we have to reverse the trend. Through several experiences and by personal interest, I have had opportunities to contribute to environmental programs, in addition to my main activity in engineering and business development. Languages (fluency in Fr/En/Es/It) and my interest in global issues and inter-cultural communication are naturally steering my professional aspirations towards international environments. I am a curious person, constantly on the lookout for opportunities to learn, to better serve my values, and carry out my life mission. My ultimate professional goal is to be able to combine all my skills, my passion, and this ever-growing experience of how the world works, to make a positive and noticeable difference by helping solve these challenges that are dear to me. As a business developer for a top Swiss research and technology organization, my everyday challenge is to be always on the lookout for opportunities to match the know-how of our highly skilled workforce to the needs of the markets we serve i.e. organizations that have understood the necessity to keep innovating to stay competitive. This inevitably trickles down to benefit society, the economy, and the environment. Exploration of new business opportunities and acquisition of new projects applied to the Space, Aeronautics and Life Sciences markets. As an innovation and applied Research center focused on new and emerging technologies, CSEM develops a wide range of technologies, with the support of our industrial customers and public funds dedicated to applied research, with a mission mission to help SMEs and large companies improve or gain a competitive advantage. My activities include: - Exploration and establishment of new academic and industrial partnerships. - Research of collaboration opportunities both through public (EU framework, ESA, Swiss innovation promotion, etc.) and direct industrial funding. - Coordination and writing of project proposals. - Management of the company's CRM (initial implementation and long term management)
Life Science Technologies for microgravity Design, development and testing of scientific equipment for space missions involving microgravity experimentation (sounding rockets, ISS, parabolic flights). Engineering activities of multidisciplinary projects (structure mechanics, fluidics, thermal, electronics and control systems, system integration, etc.) covering all stages of the hardware development for space missions. Most projects were tailored to our customer (ESA) specific requirements and usually involved going through most of the life cycle phases, from preliminary definition and conceptual design to final commissioning for the mission.
