My focus is to expand and enhance the company’s service offerings and market presence and to provide top-tier control system support to Sulzer's service centers in the EMEA area. This role capitalizes on my extensive turbomachinery control expertise. the key aspects of my mission are: -Market Analysis: Identifying trends, potential clients, and emerging technologies. -Strategic Planning: Developing and executing business strategies to drive growth. -Customer Relationships: Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders ensuring their satisfaction and operational excellence. -Innovation: Working closely with technical teams to promote Sulzer’s innovative solutions and to enhance system reliability and performance, -Sales Activities: Maximizing sales opportunities and efficiency.
Provides Control System Technical support to the Field Service Technicians and Customers related to Centrifugal Compressors and/or Steam Turbines. Subject Matter Expert and liaise with external partners/specialists.
Example of accomplished projects: • Commissioning and application support on behalf of Turner ECS (Offshore FPSO boat: control upgrade, surge tests and fine tuning of control loops). • Commissioning and application support on behalf of Woodward Governor (Turkey/steam turbine/Generator application) • Remote support of Aramco Asset and Integrity team • Commissioning and application support on behalf of Woodward Governor (Saudi/13 compressors) • Application engineering support of Woodward engineering team (Design and the commission of a Load-sharing solution for four H2 recycle compressors) • Local and remote Technical Support for Turner ECS. • Technical Support for Indalbi Sur for a project (updated TTS 500) • Sale support for AWF (Agence Woodward France) ( Promote Woodward compressor solutions).
(Transfer under taking-TUPE) I was responsible for leading the engineering team during the development, the promotion and the commissioning of new advanced, innovative, user-friendly and configurable Turbo-machinery Control Solutions.
Role and responsibilities: - Definition of the Requirement for Woodward Compressor Solutions - Introduction of CMMI-DEV within Woodward. - Responsible for Woodward’s global full train control Technical Solution. - Core member for Woodward’s Steam and compressors Standard solutions. - Inventor of the “Quench Startup Assist” solution (Patented). - Worldwide coach and Mentor to Woodward's application team. - Support sales team and marketing team. - Field support when necessary. - Support Training Team.
Example of realizations: - Develop a prototype for incipient surge using FFT Analyzer. - Re-design entirely the standard Compressor controller 505-CC2 software and interfaces. - Enhanced ITCC core software (now used by MCO,ARAMCO,GE etc.). - Supervision and quality control of Woodward's Steam turbine and compressor applications worldwide. - Define Global Software Design Procedure for Application engineers, according IEC-61131-3. - Create base logic for new 505-Enhanced. - Design and implementation of the Generic Steam Turbine -Core Software, installed now in new 5009FT, 505-CC2 and full train control solution. - Design and implementation of three control systems for Dushanzi (>40 MW compressor) including up to 5X ITCC loops per system. (Charge Gas, Ethylene/Propylene) and all auxiliaries systems (oil, Seal gas etc…).
Example of realizations: - Designed as an expert for 5009 TMR (triple redundant configurable steam turbine controller) - Modification and upgrade of standard software ITCC (anti-surge control) - Involved in the development of the 505-CC2 (configurable control systems for steam turbine and dual compressor) - Design and implementation of a control system for two 250MW steam turbine generators. - Design, implementation and commissioning of several control systems for Siemens’ steam turbines and compressors (Including upgrade of anti-surge system ITCC) - Design, implementation and commissioning of three control systems for steam turbines with dual extraction/admission and two/three anti-surge systems each. (Charge Gas/Ethylene/Propylene) - Commissioning support. - Sales support. - Training Team support.
