I'm the founder and CEO of Ozyntel, where we build decision intelligence for organisations navigating sustainability transitions. Trained in Earth sciences, sustainable development, and organisational transformation (PhD), I extend my practice across science, society and impact. I've had fire in my gut since I learnt of the obfuscation around climate science and action in 2008, and have not stopped since. Ozyntel makes systemic patterns legible. To see the wood for the trees, we model the change to navigate the reality. Leaders running organisations through sustainability transformations are rarely short of data or frameworks. They are overwhelmed; the ground beneath them is brittle and shaky, and the clarity required to act keeps slipping out of reach just as the stakes climb. We model how organisations behave under complex change, crystallising the dynamics that operational detail may obscure, providing clarity to act on pattern through the noise. The foundation: an action-oriented transformation methodology built on transdisciplinary work across climate, sustainability transitions, psychology and socio-ecological systems science. Our IDG network 2025 project established our ethics: justice work and plural knowledge systems, rooted in local knowledge, cultures and community, programmed into governance and tooling. The infrastructure: European deep-tech, with digital sovereignty and GDPR alignment built in as design constraints; chosen for long-term transformation with organisations ready to leave sustainability-as-usual behind, and impact scale-ups trying to make a dent in the market. Across the past decade, my practice has led change both inside and outside organisations trying to scale climate and social transformation: whole-university transformation strategies (SOS International); stakeholder networks built across higher education, public institutions and the private sector; partnerships with climate impact ventures and civil-society coalitions, building regional capacity for just sustainability transitions. I believe deeply in relational leadership, plural knowledge systems, and cultivating the competencies required to steward complexity for systemic change; from living labs and board rooms, to forest floor and canopy. The science has been clear for decades; there is no time to lose and we know what to do. My purpose is to play my part in the wave of collective agency emerging: to move the needle on systemic injustice, to prevent the destruction of Earth's living systems and ourselves, now and for future generations.
For the Bennu Community, I advise on transformational strategy and regenerative ecosystem/community building, bridging inner development with systemic change. I contribute as a trusted thinking partner, and through podcasts, explore cultivating future-fit leadership and deep sustainability transitions. I support Bennu’s mission to elevate international professionals, nurture intercultural competence, and build navigational capacity into forward-thinking, transformative teams. My focus: • Enabling change from the inside out • Building capacity for complexity & uncertainty • Unlocking collective intelligence • Leadership for climate resilience & system regeneration
During the pandemic, I founded Green Hub, a youth-driven knowledge hub and embedded change agency for sustainability transformation in the University of Twente. I led Green Hub as part of the international Green Office Movement, a UNESCO-recognised model for sustainability transition in higher education. I support the current team as strategic advisor and research partner on key regional, national and European projects as it navigates a challenging task environment and innovates to supports a growing ecosystem in Twente/Overijssel.
Flux Forward is a future-focused social impact venture that helps international knowledge workers activate innate, overlooked potential and lead meaningfully through complexity. As Strategic Advisor, I support: 🔹Strategic direction, learning philosophy, and pedagogy 🔹Design of validated methodologies to undergird business model, impact logic and systems design. 🔹Initiate partnerships to further impact mission Flux Forward is part of the broader effort to rethink professional development for a world in flux, and to support the emergence of regenerative, resilient, and relational leadership.
Ozyntel builds decision intelligence for organisations driving climate and social transformation. Our socio-technical digital twin models how an organisation behaves under complex change, making the consequences of irreversible decisions visible before they're committed, so leaders can act on pattern through the noise. We start where the category is open: impact scale-ups bringing transformative innovation into markets and society more broadly, where roughly 75% of green startups fail to scale. Expansion follows into enterprise sustainability transformation, where 60–70% of programmes also fail. Both share the same root: consequence blindness in complex systems under high stakes and uncertainty. We make those decisions steerable, evidence-backed, and human-led. As Founder and CEO, I bring 18 years of transformation practice, research and ecosystem-building practice into the company, alongside a team pairing systems and sustainability science with AI/ML product delivery, and ethical governance. Trust is part of the product: provenance, confidence, and human-in-control built in by design.
• Advised and guided the group on possible pathways for organisational transformation for sustainability from my research and experience, translating into practice with an emphasis on the practical realities of the UT's staff and students. Formulated, designed and initiated concept and team for a ‘Transformation Unit’ for the Utwente - T-Unit - to guide and manage its transformation in the long term. • Initiated campus engagement and events. Planned personal and career development courses on carbon literacy and sustainability related topics for staffs and students. • Advised and designed work sessions and symposiums to define a common, coherent and tangible definition of sustainability in terms of education, research, organization, campus outreach & systemic change.
I was promoted to this senior role due to the need for expert facilitation on the UT's organisational transformation for sustainability. Responsible for coshaping the emerging sustainability strategy, I streamlined university-wide decision-making on climate and sustainability. I galvanised efforts, built coalitions, strategic partnerships and soldiarity with many other organisations, such as the new Climate Centre, and Climate Crisis Coalition. Sandwiched between the executive levels and acting as an amplifier for the activism that powers change and accountability, I was challenged to hold space for a diverse coalition of action groups of staff and students.
As Founder and Coordinator, with successive teams of talented and driven young professionals, we built Green Hub Twente into a bold university sustainability transformation platform. Stemming from student change agency, and guided by staff, it supports a thriving community of sustainability & climate actors in Twente. By managing and mentoring a teams towards a central sustainability intelligence system, I steered the UT from the bottom-up to catalyse the university's transformation for strong sustainability.
