Exposure to a variety of project types ranging from, Airports, Infrastructure, Rail, Power Generation, Tunneling and Building. I have a keen interest in the contractual administration of construction contracts, particularly the identification and management of claims. I have also been involved in high profile arbitration cases preparing expert witness reports. I also hold a Masters Degree in Construction Law and Arbitration.
Senior Contracts Manager for the Civil Engineering Package of the Cityringen Metro Project within Copenhagen. The Cityringen Metro Project consists of 2 x 15km Bored Tunnels underneath the city incorporating 17 new stations. Working for the Client Tom works on the Contract Management and Administration of the Main Contract, including the reviewing and assessment of Main Contractor Claims & Variation Orders.
During my time at Driver Trett as a Senior acclaim’s Consultant, It was my responsibility to both prepare and defend construction claims, with a particular focus on the quantum assessment. I had exposure working for clients and contractors in industries ranging from oil and gas to heavy civil engineering. A particular area of interest was my exposure to a high profile arbitration, where Driver Trett was acting for the Claimant, in which I was involved with the preparation of an expert witness report on the quantum assessment of the claim.
